Waaaay back in 2010-to-2014 I developed a program that would help you lose 1 stone in 28 days.
You would eliminate the following:
- No Wheat
- No Dairy
- No Alcohol
- No Sugar
- No processed foods
- No caffeine…
- No Life…
You lost me at caffeine.
BUT… this did work and it would work with almost all who hired me to help them lose 1 stone in 28 days.
I say almost, because as with all “diets” and quick fixes” – they only work if you adhere to them.
The best diet in the world is the one you will stick too.
And so if the diet approach you are following is not how you would like to live your life, then the approach will always be short-lived.
Side Note: Now as good at this approach was and still is at helping you lose 1 stone in 28 days, you also need to be aware that this weight loss is not going to be coming from the fat you really want to melt away. This weight loss will be coming from mostly water weight, as is the case whenever you cut carbs.
So WHY did this approach work so well at losing 1 stone in 28 days?
Why do all diets work… They create a calorie deficit.
Rule number 1 of weight loss is, you need to consume fewer calories than you burn.
This diet worked so well because it was simple for my clients to adhere too (adherence is the most important thing. Remember the quote above – you should retweet it).
This diet made it easy to create a calorie deficit, because in the act of removing food groups such as wheat, that rules outs bread and pasta and cakes and biscuits, and all the foods that tend to bulk up your calories.
As is the same with dairy, sugar, alcohol and processed foods.
